Fake News Friday, 02/27/2026: Negotiating Committee elected, Pascagoula Metal Trades Council ratifies strong contract at Ingalls

The Negotiating Committee elected last week will be looking toward Ingalls, where the Pascagoula Metal Trades Council just ratified a contract including an 18% pay raise. The winners are listed below. The number of votes they received is indicated in parentheses.

  1. Terry Frost (305)
  2. Tim Halle (268)
  3. Marc Lindvall (231)
  4. Devin Ragnar (214)
  5. Rick Sites (182)

Terry Frost catapulted to first place after his decisive Conductor-Sentinel victory last year, guaranteeing the second shift a seat at the table. Frosty was the only candidate to win more than 300 votes. He beat the second place winner by 37 votes. Tim Halle, Marc Lindvall, and Devin Ragnar all cleared 200 votes. Rick Sites, the fifth-place winner, narrowly beat out the sixth and seventh-place runner ups with 182 votes. Sites beat Ray Orff (180) by just two votes, while Ryan Ryder (174) fell short by 8 votes. Members of the Election Committee tell me that there were less than 500 votes in total. Fifty ballots were voided. See the official ballot results below.

The official ballot results posted to the Local S6 Facebook page.
