I’m done with school for the year, so I’m hoping to get back into writing for fun. I want to try something new in the meantime. I’m a big fan of the Maine Beacon and the IAM’s newsletters. I love how they share stories they’re reading from other publications, too. I’d like to start doing my own version of this, so I’m going to start doing “Fake News” Fridays. I can’t possibly write a long form article about every topic I’d like to cover. Instead, I’ll post links to local, national, labor, and shipbuilding every Friday. I’ll focus on sharing “fake news” the government prefers you don’t read. Some of these sources may inspire long form articles in the future. Regardless of future use cases, this project will help me keep up with reading the news. I hope it helps you, too.
